Matthew Capell joined FHS SeniorCare Payment Solutions® in 2014 as CEO and board member.

Matt has 18 years of general management, business development and corporate finance experience, with a focus on financial services, healthcare and technology. Prior to joining FHS, Matt was the founder and managing partner of January Partners, a private investment firm focused on healthcare revenue cycle, software and tech-enabled services opportunities. Previously, Matt led the operations of Payliance, an accounts receivable management and payment processing business with more than 10,000 customers. Matt also led sales and business development for a SaaS healthcare software company. Matt earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he double majored in Economics and Psychology and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.


John Dalton’s career took off more than 22 years ago with medical staffing, executive and physician recruiting, and detoured into professional sales management and national sales training. With the launch of his own organization, he has come full circle back to recruiting, staffing, and sales training and consulting. His business development skills and sales techniques have propelled many local, regional, and national healthcare companies to prominence, and his immersion in the turbulent healthcare industry of Southeast Florida has made him a sought-after resource on all things healthcare and sales-related by his peers and clients alike. John’s magic stems from his innate ability to connect with people, and know which people to connect with one another. His sharp intuition and long-term strategic thinking help him craft solutions to problems his clients don’t even know they have. A selfless, motivating force of nature, John believes that helping others ultimately results in personal and professional fulfillment. William ‘Bill’ Dombi specializes in legal, legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of patients and providers of home health and hospice care. He has more than 37 years of experience in health care law and policy and has been involved in virtually all legislative and regulatory efforts affecting home care and hospice since 1975, including the expansion of the Medicare home health benefit in 1980, the formation of the hospice benefit in 1983, the institution on Medicare PPS for home health in 2000 and the national health care reform legislation in 2010. He was the lead counsel in the landmark lawsuit that reformed the Medicare home health services benefit, litigation directed against the "Interim Payment System" for the Medicare home health benefit, and a lawsuit addressing the so-called Medicare “case mix creep adjustments” in 2008-2010, to name a few.


Melinda Gaboury is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Provider Solutions, Inc. (HPS), based in Nashville, TN. Melinda Gaboury and Mark Cannon founded the company in April 2001 to provide financial, reimbursement, billing and clinical consulting to the home care and hospice industries. With more than 16 years of executive speaking, educating and most importantly day-to-day experience working with home care and hospice professionals, Gaboury has been a speaker for multiple state and national home care and hospice associations. She is actively conducting Basic and Advanced Home Care and Hospice Seminars throughout the country. She is currently serving on the HHFMA Board and Home Care Association of Florida Board of Directors.


Gretchen Napier is the CEO of LifeLinks & President, Southeast Chapter of Aging Life Care Association. At a very young age, Gretchen volunteered by painting fingernails for the residents in a nursing home, where she witnessed firsthand the shortcomings and "one-size-fits-all" mentality of many organizations and individuals serving seniors. After earning a degree from Vanderbilt and a Master's in Health Services Administration from UAB, she devoted many years as an independent and assisted living administrator as well as a publisher of a senior resource guide. In these roles, Gretchen saw how easy it was for aging adults to fall through the cracks of the healthcare system. Additionally, she saw how long-distance and broken family relationships make caring for an aging loved one an overwhelming task. This inspired Gretchen to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families across America by growing LifeLinks. In addition to many community leadership roles, Gretchen is raising a 14 year old son and transforming the aging experience for LifeLinks every day.


Liz Zink-Pearson For more than 15 years she has served the needs of health care providers around the country. Prior to private practice & worked in the public sector as a law clerk for the late Judge George C. Edwards of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and as an Attorney Advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor. As a founding member of Pearson & Bernard, PSC in 1998, Liz brought her extensive experience in health law and employment law to the firm along with her characteristic informal, non-legal approach to resolving client conflicts in the ever-changing world of health care. Over the years, Ms. Pearson has expanded her practice to include corporate organization and merger and acquisitions for health care providers and broadened her representation to include admission to many U.S. District Courts around the country, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Her state admissions include Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Consistent with the firm’s mission to counsel and educate clients, Ms. Pearson lectures often for state and national trade associations on many legal topics including Medicare compliance, Fraud and Abuse, Corporate Compliance, Employment Discrimination, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Liz served as education counsel for the former American Federation for Home Care and also is a frequent contributor to trade association journals and newsletters.


Katie Wehri is certified by the Health Care Compliance Association in health care compliance and health care privacy compliance. She has been working in the hospice, home health, private duty, and palliative care industries for 24 years and has held executive level positions in these arenas. Katie has worked for hospices in a variety of settings, including multiple locations in multiple states, a hospice inpatient unit, pediatric hospice, and adult and pediatric palliative care. In addition, Katie has an extensive background in health care regulation and accreditation standards interpretation; compliance and quality assessment; performance improvement; and opening and expanding sites for home health, hospice and palliative care services. Katie has been consulting, presenting and educating in these areas nationally since 2009.
